Hand quilting is a traditional method of creating a quilt by hand-sewing the fabric layers (quilt top, batting, and backing) together using a needle and thread, without the use of a sewing machine. It involves stitching through all three layers with a running stitch, creating a soft, crinkled texture.
Lori Holt Crazy Quilt Paper is used in creating fun, unique piecing out of 10" fabric squares or one Layer Cake. Lay your Crazy Quilt Paper on your choice of fabric, cut along the lines and make a finished Crazy Quilt block that finishes at 8". Lori’s Crazy Quilt Paper will be available for purchase prior to the class as well as a wonderful variety of Layer Cake options.

pressing, not ironing and the importance of reading through the pattern(s)/instructions. You will learn simple techniques for fabric selection, rotary cutting, quick and accurate piecing, binding and quilting, and you will come away with your first beautiful personally created quilt!
